At BHG Group, helping areas that lack funding but have access to farming land is important to us. In order to ensure those we help fund are successful, we have a thriving agro-processing business. The produce we process is high quality, as are our hygienic standards, and our outputs.
Our main outputs include:
Agro Processing: Edible Oils
Our oil-seed crushing plant processes soya beans and sunflower seeds. The product is then produced into high-quality cooking oils. The by-product is used in animal feeds. The high oil content of sunflower seed and soya beans is extracted by crushing and then cold pressing. Afterward, it is packed into 200 liter aseptic bags inside steel drums, 1,000 liter IBC, or 20 ton flexi tanks and shipped around the world to edible oil refiners and bottlers. The by-product is placed in 200 kg bags and shipped to animal feed suppliers.
Agro Processing: Tropical Fruit Juice Concentrates
Our delicious tropical fruits such as mango, pineapple, passion fruit, pink guava and white guava are harvested and turned into juice concentrates. These concentrates are then sold to fruit juice manufacturers, food processors, and even retailers worldwide. The concentrate form is filled in 200 liter aseptic tanks placed in stainless steel drums before shipping.
Because we have our own farm in a temperate climate which is integrated with our processing plant, we always have mango, pineapple, passion fruit and both pink and white guava available at any time of the year.
Agro Processing: Wheat
Our durum wheat is processed into high-quality semolina at our own milling plant into various wheat-based products and then sold to food manufacturers including pizza and pasta makers. Soft wheat is milled and shipped to cookie and cake bakers / bakeries. Our wheat is bagged in 25 and 50 kg packages, as well as 5kg packages to be sold directly to consumers.
